3. Collection, processing and use of personal data
Personal data are data concerning factual or personal relationships of an identified or identifiable natural person. Collection, processing and use of your personal data
We regard data protection as a highly important issue. Therefore, in collecting, processing and using your personal data we adhere strictly to the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. We collect, store and process your data for the entirety of your purchasing transaction, including the possibility of subsequent warranties, for our service departments, our technical administration and for Stalena marketing purposes. Your personal data shall be passed on or otherwise communicated to third parties, only where this is required for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or for accounting purposes or where you have given your prior consent. As part of processing your order we communicate the data required to complete the order to the service providers appointed by us (such as carriers, logistics experts, banks). In order to process your order correctly we need correct name, address and payment details. We need your e-mail address, so that we can confirm receipt of your order and can communicate with you. Use of your data for promotional purposes

All personal data shall, of course, be treated as strictly confidential. If we enter into advance payment, e.g. for a purchase on account, in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, where appropriate, we seek information as to creditworthiness on the basis of a mathematical and statistical process from a credit firm.
For this purpose we pass on the personal data required for a creditworthiness check with a credit firm and use the information received concerning the statistical probability of a payment default to take a balanced decision as to whether to initiate, pursue or terminate the contractual relationship. The creditworthiness information can include probability values (score values), which are calculated on the basis of scientifically recognized mathematical and statistical processes and into the calculation of which enter inter alia address data. All matters concerning protection of your legitimate interests shall be taken into consideration in conformity with the statutory provisions.
